For those of you with the demo (or those of us who had the beta test) post some fun little creative stories you've imagined happening based on events in the game.

I'm writing up one now (unfortunately, it probably won't be finished before my exam) about a massive fighting retreat against several groups of bandits with an empire patrol unit I tagged along with.

I figured that I'd get the ball rolling to see what other people have come up with in the meantime.

I approached what looked to be a merchant caravan only to find out that it was some roaming bandits. I ran for help, only to find more hostiles. After this happening a few times on the way to the city. I then had a following of 30ish bandits....I finally make it to the town where the 10 town guards dispatch all the bandits.

Revelations.
The FPS for the game handles well currently.
Bandits are not even close to being pushovers as with most games.
Don't F**K with the popo.
Training 30 some odd bandits to a town and getting them killed on the guards/police then looting the swords is a good early source of 4-5k cash.

On my first play through:
The wanderer is a somewhat tall, somewhat burly individual who holds his chest just a tad bit forward.
I started in the village, walked through a few buildings and took a look in a bunch of empty chests. I talked to a few soldiers and guards, who told me to buy the game. "I will when it comes out, geez"
I had some money, but the clever, and rich, armor shop guy tricked me out of my money. (Lesson: Don't buyback)
Luckily there was a pile of corpses partially covered in sand laying just outside of the village, looting a few I found a massive cleaver sword, which I kept on me. (What do the weapon slots do? I put two katanas in the first weapon slot, knowing full well I couldn't dual wield, and it let me, how does it decide?)
I decided to tag along with some hatted fellows wandering about, which soon led me to my first confrontation. The hungry bandits and soldiers began to trade blows, and I joined in attacking one of the bandits. I got one shot in, but my heavy cleaver was proving useless against his flurry of blows, luckily the soldiers made quick work of the gang and one of them came to my aid. After patching myself up, I resumed following them.
I was playing around with right clicking the soldiers to test my mental capacities of "Follow" and such, and accidentally pulled a sword on the soldier. He injured my arm, and I ran for the hills. He must have told his friends to leave me alone, because he was coming after me at top speed, alone.
I turned to fight when I got too close to the town, I had no choice, I was afraid someone would come to HIS aid. Swish, swish, stab, I was done. He sheathed his blade and left me to slowly die.

Sooo, better luck next time...

History of Kenshin the samurai
When Kenshin was born (created) he seemed already like an old geezer who had seen too many winters. Arching his back as much as the character creation option allowed, as thin as his bones allowed, there he was. He first learned to move and then learned to make the camera follow him, finally he thought to himself: "Let's get me some bandit to loot"
So he rushed out of town ready for battle and there they came, about 4 or 5 pitiful souls that would soon see the face of their creator (chris-the-great). But what was to happen would go down in the history of Kenshi.
As the first bandit approched our brave and vigorous Kenshin, our hero rightclicked him 3 times in a row. The bandit seemed to laugh as he slashed trough Kenshin like he was butter (butter-bees).Having dealt a fatal wound, the band of bandits left, little did they know that what they did would doom the world of Kenshi forever...
Our Hero Kenshin who seemed to have died, fell down to the sand but instead of lying there not knowing how to heal himself he slowly merged with the sand until he completely disappeared within it (seriously).
That's how the God of Desert Kenshin was born and started haunting and hunting careless players all around the world and dimensions (yeah his gonna come over to your worlds too soon)

You should always proofread carefully to make sure you didn't any words out.

Need help? pm me or any other mod.

In Kenshi I made my character (Lets refer to him as randy) run into the desert and attack a traveling caravan (Just to see what happens). As randy desperately limped across the desert, caravan guards at heel, he stumbled across a gang of bandits. There was a brief skirmish , followed afterward by what appeared to be all of the caravan squatting. I guess they wanted to make sure the enemy knew they lost.

Well, nothing truly noteworthy has happened yet, but there was one occasion when I came across the body of one of the Green-Pants Sand Bandit guys on a mountain slope. I proceeded to rifle through his possessions as usual, and found he'd been carrying a ridiculously good katana.

However, as I picked it up, I saw some figures in the distance sprinting towards me. Another group of bandits had decided they deserved the sword more than I did. This was before I figured out how to save, so I was terrified I'd get horribly murdered in a 6:1 fight. I ran.

I ran over the mountain peak, down the other side, out of the foothills, onto the open dunes, down a dry riverbed, across a massive plain, and kept running at a full sprint for probably ten minutes. I looked at my map, found I'd basically been running into the ass end of nowhere, looked behind me, saw the persistent buggers were still following.

So I did a U-turn, sprinted another three miles to the nearest town, and ran straight through it, gradually losing bandits to the guards along the way. I survived, with a shiny katana to show for it, and drank an imaginary toast to the current lack of a stamina meter.

The story of Stever-San the Wandering Warrior is an ongoing one, full of intrigue, mystery, excitement, and loads of BS'ing. So please, gather round, come stay a while, and feel free to listen to my story.
***
The sun was high in the sky, as it always seemed to be on this forsaken planet, tucked away in a long-forgotten corner of the great vastness that is space. Slowly, at a pace that would make the mighty tortoise impatient, three strange figures pressed onward through the desert sands.

In the rear of their party was a man wearing a faded white set of armor over his light clothes, with a red stripe running horizontally across the chestplate. On his head, he wore a conical straw hat to keep the sun from his brow, and on his back he wore a small leather pack, filled to bursting with an odd assortment of medical supplies. Strapped to his belt was a nary-used short katana, more for decoration than any sort of actual combat. At this point in time, the man was choosing to go by the moniker of "Typhoon," regardless of the fact that he had never seen one, and in fact had no idea what a typhoon was. Peculiar as he may seem, his travelling companions were glad to have him with them, as his encyclopedic medical expertise had saved all of their lives on more than one occasion.

In the middle of the group walked a dwarf of a man, standing just under five feet tall, but nearly as wide at the shoulder. His face was obscured by the same type of hat worn by the group's medic, and his body was covered with a thick plate armor. Wearing this heavy plating and dark clothes beneath, he must have been cooking in the sun, but you wouldn't have been able to tell from the nearly omnipresent absence of expression on his face. Between the mid-sized pack he wore and the armor on his back, he had sheathed an enormous blade, shaped more like a large plank than any sort of conventional sword. This warrior asked that his friends refer to him as Ben Rōnin, out of respect for his fallen teacher, and that his enemies not be able to form proper words with their shattered jaws.

The man leading the party was tall, but not particularly imposing. He wore a gray woven hat to keep the sun off of his head, and a long blue coat, bearing the insignia of the Imperial Army on the shoulders.Forgoing conventional armor, he wore plating on his legs, and a simple shirt of chain mail. Strapped to his back was a long, thin blade made of a black metal, and to his side, a long katana was secured in a pearl-colored sheath. He was skilled as a classical swordsman, and was capable of holding his own in a fight, but his largest contribution to the small group was his way with words; he had managed to talk their way out of several undesirable situations, and his silver tongue was more often than not able to earn them special "discounts" when they were in need of supplies or equipment. The man was known as Stever-San the Wandering Warrior, and at that point in time, he was struggling to navigate with an outdated map of the dune sea. This is his story.

When I drizzle creativity, I don't just drizzle; I make it rain.
These are the three characters I've been playing and those are (save for the backstories) about as accurate of a description I can give for them without being boring. Or maybe it was boring. Regardless, I will write more about the interesting things that befall this group as I play more of the game. Or not. If nobody wants me to, that's fine. (If I do, though, there will be liberal drizzling of "creativity" throughout.)

This one happened to me earlier :) :

The three wanderers Sverei (Leader), Hiruma ( Medic) and Tiny (Huge man with a massive plank-sword thingy) was out patrolling for bandits. After a fight with a few starving bandits, easily dispatched by Sverei, they were ambushed by a group of sand ninjas. Tiny; the most recent addition to the group was ordered to stay back and let the more experienced figthers handle the larger groups of enemies. The battle seemed to go well in their favour, hacking down the ninjas one by one. Too busy to watch out for Tiny who were only fighting one of the enemies he took quite a few hits while the two others fought bravely against the 5 others. Nearing the end of the battle, Tiny's foe ran away, his limp Swordarm whirling everywhere, then as they called out to tiny they saw him shuffling after the escaping ninja.

After a little while they called out to him, telling him to get back, but he would not listen. During battle he did not go down, so he should be fine they thought, but when they went closer to look they saw that he was no longer alive. His left arm hang loosely down his side, while his right hand was clenched firmly around the hilt of his massive plank sword. He had fought trough many serious injuries, but the worst by far where his now completely ruined stomach, almost as if it had all ben torn out of him (-134 in stomach health :o ).

And at that moment the story of the undead hulk was born, and it is believed that he is still wandering the wasteland, fighting the sand ninjas to avenge his own death.

- A really strange event that which i'm guessing was because of a bug, but it still made a damn good story :)

My squad and I were contemplating our take over of the world.

We decided we needed more people.
So we set about on a trading operation that took us far south as the temple of truth. Netting us well over 100,000 cats. We recruited more men along the way.

We decided that we now have enough sufficiently geared men to take over the world, just not the skills to. So we set out to train and become stronger.

This ends our story for now, to be continued at a later date.

Let's see, my second-ish playthrough, my party was Kenshin, [](I could delete the name, but not put my own stuff in, so he had no name!), and Sword For Hire (I learned my lesson)...

Where: Who knows where in the desert, about NE of Capital (or up-right).

My Warriors fought valiantly, only to be slain on a route nobody traveled.
There was no way out, I was about to lose my characters, bleeding fast, there was no chance!
But then, by miracle, [] restored to 1 due to stun damage, quickly he started to wake up his comrades, once everyone was full, we found a captain , THE CAPTAIN OF THE GROUP THAT KILLED ME!!!, injured by the police, he died quickly by my hand!

Later, after much training, I was knocked out by the outpost by clown-somethingsomething, I was knocked out, but Sword For Hire woke up, only to be chased by the group, dashing he quickly made it back, and revived the others while the bandits were busy...

This is all in game stuff, so not too exciting, I'll get a better story later, Listening to the Numa Numa song will help! :P

Gather round, gather round my good friends.

They tell tales of a Skillful swordsman named "Lorenzo", a foreigner in these lands.

When he first arrived though, he was not a master of the way of the Katana.

He came with nowt but a wooden training Katana and some trousers to keep his modesty. He purchased a Katana and then hired a man by the name of Basrash, a short and thin man. They ventured into the desert and found bandits, many bandits, but luring them to the town, they reaped a fortune. After purchasing better armour and weapons, they set their sights on fighting for themselves...

(Story of my character and its probably not going to be very action filled until I get my attack skill up a tad or buy the full thing and recruit some people)

right now i am a band of ragband warrior. that take in the weirdest of crowds ( i got a giant a miget and a tall dood that broke his back or something.)

we were first killed a trader and stole his back pack to become traders our self! we ran a succes full buisness even tough bandits were always out for blood.
business was booming and everyone was wearing top notch equipment the bandits were easy picking and our band got restless. Thats when we came across a band of holy warriors i could not contain my men and we charged in to battle. they died after a tough fight, we had to apply first aid there and then. But as people got back up 2 more patrols came running in more fighting came in the toughest battle yet. but we prevailed and had to run because more patrols were coming. Of course one of our men was wounded tough and he could only walk and we leave no man behind so we all walked from shark toward the capital.

once there we knew we needed more men the 10 we had were not enough. luckily the capital had 2 men willing to join the cause but we had no more money trade was stalled. no equipment and saw 2 beat up bandits perfect fodder for the new guys! they fought well but more bandits came a full bunch of dust bandits. everyone went in the fray! in the middle of the fight more dust bandits showed up it was a trap! 2 full gangs enter the fray but one after the other falls not before they take out 2 of my men luckily nothing a good doctor could fix.

Once everyone was back up we went toward the trade out post the last save haven we know those traders have been fighting the holy servants as long as we know. once there we saw 2 holy servant patrols heading towards the town. we decided to wait till the guards were engaged and then flank the red bastards. but no guards came and they just kept walking towards town we knew we had to step in. we ran into town and started slaughtering them all one by one. there were only 2 guards left but both of them fell bandits came rushing in hearing the trouble and hoping to score but they were also quickly delt with.
Once the dust settled a body guard came walking out from his hiding place and started bandaging up one of the bandits. but once he got up it was clear he was not a bandit but a local he fought for his life and i knew he was the right kind of guy for our band in the fight against the holy servants.

oh god thats more text then what i wanted to write XD hope you enjoyed my broken english =p

THE BALLAD OF CICERO

Cicero was a tall man, with arms as strong as steel,
who liked put nails, on all of his meals.

He went out into the desert, to go kill some thieves,
Because all he had was pants, and he wanted some armored greaves.

He walked on for days, with no bandits in sight,
all the thieves he did find, had all been drained white.

When he finally found some bandits, he let out a mighty roar,
he charged into battle, and was soon covered in gore.

He had won the battle, but before he could clean his blade,
a gang of thirty bandits appeared, who were coming back from a raid.

He fought them with all his might, slaying all but five,
but in the end he couldnt win, and soon he was no longer alive.

The End
