In playing Kenshi, I love throwing a medkit or two on every soldier in my group, but the only feedback for a medkit becoming depleted is noticing you guy is no longer healing people and I gotta go check every single soldier's inventory for medkit charges remaining.

Simply put, I'd like to see something along the lines of this implemented for quick visual confirmation:

Also, when a medkit hit's 0 charges remaining, it might be nice if it dissolved into thin air instead of tricking me into thinking I still had some left. As an extension of that, it might be worthwhile adding a combine gimmick by stacking two medkits with less-than-full charge remaining to give you one with the sum for nice inventory management.

One of the best suggestions I have seen in a long time. Seems simple, adds something useful and you even included a nice little graphical representation.

I like it.

Perfect!! This is actually what we need. So easy, so simple, so good, and yet no one thought of that before you. Thank you!!

I will put it on my to-do list.

Medkits should vanish when used up, is that not happening?

No it isn't, medikits stay in your inventory at 0 charges until you get rid of them manually

This is more related to healing than medkits but I don't want to start new thread just for this ;)

Why we can't "heal" dead guys? And by that I don't mean it like bringing them back to life, but for practice and experiments.

All who study to become doctors practice with corpses before they cut someone. And even though first aid is usually practiced with living, it doesn't mean those same things could be done with the dead.

Also, doing first aid to enemies seems to be only way to teabagging at this point. And there is nothing more sad than game where you can't harass departed comrads

I'd just assume because medical technology in Kenshi isn't advanced enough for that to make a difference.
