So yeah, i love the game as much as the next guy.
But yeah, it can get kinda, weary, with nothing to do.
Something i'd like to see put in next would be the simply ability, to train with your fellow swordman, some simple practise in swordmanship, like "right click - Chose to "Sparr/train"
And advance your dex/swordmanship that way.
Figured it wouldn't be to far a stretch.
[Suggestion] Training gangnamstyle
I was thinking the same thing a while back, why wouldn't they spar? anyways, there's the official answer:

Oh god, not you again...
Aye, since the weight been implemented, i just wanna see the sparing session next, would add a lil more encampment activity feel to it
Edit: I mean all you need to do is make a lil option to spar, and the animation can still be the same as fighting.

I think I could mod this. At least I think I could increase the XP you get from training dummies, and have trainers that spar. Like, barkeeps for example.

From what i can tell you have blunt, cut and pierce damage.
Can stunning be implemented?
As to setting up sparring, i think you'd need to create a new AI goal, but how you make new enums i havent figured out yet. It would have to be something that would mean you can attack someone without anyone else reacting and without lowering relations, just like attacking the training dummy, except using the training dummy one would force you to attack a training dummy i assume..
It will be interesting to see how Scotterius manages this one..
Maybe he would be kind enough to write it in a guide so we can document all this?

I was thinking more of Implementing Wooden weapons like (Wooden Staffs, Wooden Katanas, 1H sword + shield((if thats to be implemented anytime in the future)) ).
And then ya ofcourse you'd need to set up a new AI, for sparring, Like they stop hitting at a certain ammount of health, or if you simply make a new table for training, like "Training Endurance" Which depletes regarding to how many actual hits you get from a wooden weapon.
Meaning a higher skilled character would deplete less endurance, thus taking less hits.

I just bought my key today and was thinking about this the whole time. It would be amazing to have your strongest, most fit and skilled warrior go and train/spar with a recruit.
Also, to possibly have a multiplier system setup so that the higher the skill level of the trainer/sparring partner, the faster the other can level up since the more amount of knowledge is passed on etc. Sparring the dummy gets a little boring after quite a while. Also, there could be maybe one or two "Master" trainers on some random remote part of the map that is not marked. It would give some incentive to explore every little crevice of the map. I've found some places on the map that I wished I would have found something cool and random like a trainer or treasure chest filled with 100,000 pesos (or a sweet rare sword).
