Bridges and Beams

Simple enough, not too much elaboration here. Different sizes of bridges/beams would also be really sweet.

A simple bridge system, I feel, would be able to help not just with building cities in difficult terrain or separated by water, but you could also build bridges (or beams, more likely) between your buildings so you can run all along the rooftops. This would be good especially for archers who want to be able to shoot enemies from up above and be able to have options for fleeing when the enemy does start coming up.

Finally, it would be really great if we could build cities that have specifically one physical access point via bridge. A drawbridge, even?

+1 to bridging gaps of different varieties (entirely forgot about beams between rooftops for eventual rooftop access).
