Just wanted to make a topic regarding the update server. I have seen some posts regarding some issues about it during the last update or so but wanted to get some more information if its available.

Currently when i launch Kenshi it times out for a bit and then i get this

"Error trying to save file: Error downloading "http://184.173.21.2/~kenshiup/wyupdate/wyserver.wys": The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a receive."

Previous to this error i had been getting a report (a few weeks ago) saying something to the extent of "Cannot connect to server" I can still play of course but I'm just wondering if this is an actual issue or if its because the server is being moved and/or changed? or if its an issue on my end.
I'm looking forward to the next update and will be very sad if i'm unable to get the update when it rolls around.

Some help or information on the matter would be awesome. :D

I have been getting a simular error, I figured its because im at 0.25.5 but the update neglected to change the version number. So my currentversion.txt says 0.25.4 when its actually updated fully.
Error trying to save file: Error downloading "http://184.173.21.2/~kenshiup/wyupdate/wyserver.wys": Unable to connect to the remote server
Happend before in 0.23 for a short time, I didint bother to report it then either.

Got the same problem. Turning off the firewall didn't do anything.

I disabled my firewall and launched Kenshi, it still just hung for a bit and then gave me the same error.

EDIT: I did a clean install and it seems to of cleared up, I just wish i knew why it went screwy in the first place :(
