I believe there is supposed to a mesh or frame when you're building? But I seem to have a problem where it only shows a door? My graphics card is a ATI Radeon HD 5670
*edit*
forgot to mention, I am using the latest version of Kenshi.
Building mesh/frame bug?

Aha, so you have the invisible buildings bug.
I assume if you turn on "Fancy shaders" in the options then all the buildings are invisible?
Is your system a laptop? Also have you tried updating your graphics drivers?

Now that this has come to a wider knowledge, I'm having that too. Finished buildings look normal but when still building, all I can see is the door.
This has been on every version I have tried. I didn't know it was a bug earlier but when the thought occurred to me I was too lazy to report it since it was a little thing. (Doesn't really affect on gameplay) Sorry for that.
I have never seen the frames on my game, with or without fancy shaders.
It's not a laptop. Rest is visible on signature.
Also, is there supposed to be something when building interiors too?

Anyway, I have a desktop (a dell studio XPS 7100) and my graphics card is up to date, that's the first thing I tried
Hellhound1 does indeed have the same problem as me, and it's fine after the building is finished so it's not that big of a deal
I also stole Santa's idea... now you can see my specs in my sig~ XD

Completely off topic but you (nuget) have the processor i almost almost went for
In the end i went for the quad core at slightly faster. I thought 6 cores was probably overkill. Then went overkill with 16gigs of ram. but yeah.

Great idea though, makes the bug reporting simpler.
