Noticed that my guys were having trouble making an electrical storage box on the second level of a building. Didn't matter where i placed it, they would run up to it and then keep twitching and turning around unable to add any materials.
Tried out of a bunch of other things, but they all had the same problem. They can't add anything if it isn't on the bottom floor or outside.
[0.91.18] Can't build on upper levels of buildings.

Indeed, I build a new station house to test it on again and still it won't let me build anything on them besides: 2 medi crates, even in the center of the roof it won't let me build it.aubreymal wrote:Im having same issue. Can't build anything on rooftops
I just built a Station house in my game, and tried to put a research bench on the roof. When on the roof, my character would repeatedly run against the bench, but not be able to add materials or build it. However, when I put my character on the floor below, directly beneath the bench, and then clicked the bench, my character added materials and started building it.
Out of curiosity, are your characters able to use the things on your roof that are already constructed?

Just in case this helps.
I had a t2 research bench on the second floor of a stormhouse prior to update. It works fine. I researched the t3 and for a little while I could not upgrade. But today I was able to upgrade it. My toons found the research bench and upgraded it no problem.
I haven't tried to build anything on rooftops today. but i will tomorrow.
