So, I started a new game (vanilla), and the lag was gone. I played for about 10 hours before adding any mods (to try and replicate the issue on the other game). I was able to add several mods before I got any lag. So, I loaded my old game (the one with the lag), and it was working fine. Any thoughts...

Like I said, nothing special.

Tried both. I started on experimental, which is what I thought caused the lag. So, I rolled back to stable and imported. Still there.

Did you just opt out of experimental and it fixed the issue? Or did you do something else as well?

Re-installed. Updated drivers. Changed application priority. Adjusted the graphical settings six ways til Sunday. The lag is still there -- nothing that I do seems to help. Agreed. Saturday, game was running fine. Sunday, game's lag causes it to be absolutely unplayable.
