I was paying more attention to it and I noticed that the share food AI doesn't get food until their hunger is at about 225 which threw me off I guess. normally when food is in the inventory they eat at 250 but not for food sharing I guess. Dog thing is still an issue for me though

I have the AI set so that food share is on, which hopefully I 'm not really stupid, but that should mean that if you have food in a backpack then everyone will go to eat from that one backpack. Validating did the trick and I'm able to play on that save again. I still have problems with them getting stuck on a gate sometimes. They walk over it and then can't walk out of it. But I can fix that by using someone else to pick them up and carry them out. So not the end of the world I suppose.

Wouldn't it be kind of fun if you could get a friend or something and run around trying to survive the game together? Maybe they could be just like a squad member but is user controlled instead? Or have their own squad and maybe you could battle each other or something. I'm not sure how far you migh...

I'm not sure what happened here. I was building a base out by the gutters(?) and suddenly my characters all got stuck. after that I tried reloading the save and was unable to even open it. Every time I tried to open the save up the game just crashes instead.
