Re: Survey: Let me know if your keys are working on Steam

Well seeing as I can't change my vote (or atleast I don't know how), I just wanted to let Chris and all the owners of Desura Kenshi keys know... My Desura Kenshi key successfully activated on steam! So if you have Desura Kenshi key, I urge you to try it on steam now and post your results (remember b...

I feel a bit silly asking this but a quick google search yielded nothing useful, how do we run Steam as beta version?

Re: Desura Key wont work on steam?

Hopefully we are just impatient and this key thing starts to work soon. I too have a Desura key that's not working on steam yet (i haven't tried yet today) and I know how you guys feel. I'm pretty excited to, to transfer Kenshi over to steam. But I'm sure that if we're patient, it will work sooner ...

Anyone have any luck with Desura keys? Mines still not working.

Re: Key not working with steam

Just thought I'd add that my Desura key for Kenshi isn't working on steam either.

Anyway, it's not a problem for the time being, but it will be good to know when valve sort this out.

Re: Killing enemies while they are unconsious.

The one thing that strikes me about the idea of an execution or coup de grace is that it is very, very dishonourable . That's a very good point. Perhaps Killing a downed enemy could result in a loss of reputation with all the factions that are friendly/neutral towards that faction? Perhaps it could...

Re: Formation, Grouping and Joint Inventory

Well, rather than have a joint inventory, perhaps if you selected a group and than right clicked "loot" it would just show the enemy's loot. From there the player right clicks the items they want to loot and that item is automatically put into the inventory of the fastest player that has r...

Re: [Suggestion] Rebalance the Research bench

Optimally, I personally would enjoy some kind of balance between permanent tech unlocks and having setbacks from losing my research team. Maybe you can research tech and it stays unlocked, but can only be built if at least one person in the outpost has a high enough science skill to fit the require...

Re: [FEATURE] labour should increase strength

The feature of fatigue and resting sounds nice too, although gameplay wise it could end up costing a lot of micro imo. Marching with your army in the desert for a few days towards the enemy city and having to rest before attacking seems realistic and opens up new tactics, but to avoid fighting (dur...

Re: Generations

I don't get what's wrong with killing (virtual) children. They're not real. I know that and killing children in a video game wouldn't even bother me in the slightest. From a moral perspective, although there would be things i'd be uncomfortable with, I don't think there is anything that can be done...

Re: [FEATURE] labour should increase strength

that resting idea, RebD. That's awesome, and should apply to all physical stat (str, dex, end) growth. Now beds won't just be for hospitals! Though, I hope stat loss from lack of rest is only temporary. Well there could be two stages, a temp one that restores the characters stats when they rest and...

Re: Generations

I'm a little confused though. You mentioned a button a few times, but didn't really describe it. Is it that when you press it, everyone in the faction ages and produces a random number of offspring if married and adult? From what I gathered there is only one automatic stage of growth, from child to...

Re: Killing enemies while they are unconsious.

I'm kind of torn on this one. On one hand it seems odd that I can't attack my enemy, that I know will soon rise and attack me, even though I have a weapon and they're lying there motionless. On the other hand, I just find watching the injured guys rise up and limp off or run away quite entertaining....

Re: [FEATURE] labour should increase strength

Perhaps labouring could increase strength, but only for a certain time, after which the character stops gaining points unless they stop and rest. This would probably relate to food, water and fatigue but at this stage we don't really know how those things are going to be implemented. If the characte...

Re: [Suggestion] Rebalance the Research bench

It's funny, I haven't played 0.39 yet (i'm just going to wait for 0.40) but I was thinking about this exact same thing. My problem isn't so much that it sounds too easy to do, but rather, permanently unlocking tech seems somewhat static. Once you have all the techs, that's it, you have them all fore...

Re: I'VE BEEN ROBBED!

I'm not sure how the whole being robbed of money thing that's being discussed would work but I have to agree with the OP about gear being stolen. While balance has been mentioned a few times, I don't think it's the main thing to take into consideration. My first thought when I read this topic was th...

Well, in the long run, it's not suppose to be. But in the mean time, untill Chris adds female character models, it is suppose to be greyed out.

You simply drag the item over the space another item (of the same type) is occupying. Keep in mind a traders backpack is required to do this and can only be done in the space supplied by the traders back pack.
