Re: So chris is getting rid of the desert landscape?
I'm with Mattk50. Not only the size of the world, but how you move about in it really impacts playability and more important replayability. For instance, Oblivion was a much bigger world than Morrowind.......... but it didn't FEEL like it, because of how they handled fast travel. By giving just enou...

Re: Kenshi Updates
Waiting for updates is a sort of metagame, I know when minecraft was in it's early days it was fun to play and see every new little update, and that kept me playing. When version 1.0 finally launched.... I actually lost interest for a while, but now that they're updating again I see myself playing i...

Re: What do you want next?
I would like to see the ability to manage multiple squads, even if it's crude so that a) I can go back to recruiting every schmuck I run across and b) we can start putting some silly amounts of stress on the game and see where it needs more work. (which is where multi-threading etc gets priority so ...

old thread, but I'm another dual monitor guy. I just exclusively use WASD to pan the camera and pretend I'm playing an RTS.

Crash when selling many construction supplies

I have been unable to reproduce it win7 64bit,...

Re: Game survey
Stronger bandits wouldn't necessarily appear out of thin air, but if you're rich you'll draw all the existing bandits out of the woodwork because you're a juicy target. I think it fits marvelously with the "world doesn't revolve around you" model, if anybody paints a big red X on their hea...

Re: wil you be able to make multiple groups
I think he's asking along the lines of semi-automation of troops, like, select a dozen guys and tell them to trade between two cities, select another dozen guys and tell them to patrol the wasteland, etc, fire and forget. That way when you're running your own faction of 500 guys you don't HAVE to mi...

Re: cursor lock?
As a multiple monitor user, I explain it to people like this. Imagine a wooden desk with space for only a single sheet of paper on top of it. You'd have to shuffle between which sheet is on top, or use half sheets of paper, it would be pretty inconvenient. That's what using a single monitor is like....

Re: Games like Kenshi?
How the heck is this like M&B? aim towards realistic combat in groups or by yourself in a persistent world full of traders/bandits/armies wandering about with their own goals wherein you can choose to fight bandits, become a bandit, trade equipment or nonequipable sundry goods, control your own...

He has gone as far as to say that you can then create an armour/weapon loadout........... go to the blacksmith and put in an order for the missing pieces and pick them up when they are done.....

First Aid Kit feature suggestions
In playing Kenshi, I love throwing a medkit or two on every soldier in my group, but the only feedback for a medkit becoming depleted is noticing you guy is no longer healing people and I gotta go check every single soldier's inventory for medkit charges remaining. Simply put, I'd like to see someth...

Re: New members say "Hi"
Hi, I found Kenshi recently through a friend of mine, and am already a huge fan. Looking forwards to where it's going in the future and I hope to lurk the forums quite a bit more.
