It seems every other area of the game is fine but when I approach mongrel with only one squadmate, there is a crash report. Any idea what's going on?

Ahem ... so my bad. I figured it out. Turns out a mod called GenMod was causing the saving bug. Just thought you should know and I do thank you for your time.

Look, I got a lot of joy out of this game and I don't mind a crash here or there. However, when a highly rated game's tech staff's response to a major problem with the game is "I'm sorry, we don't have a solution for you. Please fix it yourself" I have to draw a line. I think it's time I m...

Cannot save, quick save or otherwise, without crashing
So whenever I try to save or quicksave the game stalls, then crashes. I already did a full and complete install and since Steam saves all saves to a cloud, I reloaded my old save. The same problem still occurred. What's going on and how can I fix it?
