Re: Your top 5 games beyond Kenshi
Also glad to see S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Metro 2033. In my opinion, they both had better post-apocalyptic settings than Fallout 3 (and I enjoyed playing them more, cue accusations of heresy etc). Far Cry 3 was a blast to play too. Doesn't really count as a game, but if you're into visual novels, definint...

Re: Your top 5 games beyond Kenshi
1. Halo (The series in general - I'm playing 4 the most at the moment) 2. Battlefield 3 (Xbox) 3. Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 (Xbox again) 4. Deus Ex: Human Revolution (PC) 5. Dead Pixels (PC) Slightly going off on a tangent here, but I am tracking other games that are in the works as we...

Re: How can i register my game on steam?
just to be sure, this doesn't yet have a 100% rate of it working, right? cause i just tried with my desura key and it got rejected It worked with my GamersGate key. Can anybody with a Desura key tell a successful story? Apparently Desura keys should work. Did you change Steam to the Steam Beta Upda...

Re: How can i register my game on steam?
Didn't think it really merited a new thread, but seeing as it's related to this, I'll post it here: After you've redeemed your code and Steam has re-installed Kenshi, can you delete the original files or can you keep them? I don't really see how it would affect anything, but I thought I'd get a seco...

Re: New members say "Hi"
Oddly enough, I've been seeing plenty of noobs and plenty of "hi"s, but no wisdom. I shall now amend this: Always remember to stock up on chicken before logging onto the Kenshi forums.

Music for Kenshi
Kenshi has no sound. I have no problem with this, as I am very aware it is an alpha. However, if anyone can recommend any Japanese/Cowboy themed soundtracks or a bit of ambient desert themed-stuff to listen to while playing the game, I would much appreciate it!

Re: No crashDump.zip
I see. I've never had any problems with it before, but to be honest, I don't really care where the file goes. Thanks for the help anyway. I'll be back when I have a real bug to report to you!

Re: No crashDump.zip
C:\Kenshi. I put it in Program Files (x86) and then in a separate folder I called lofigames, to keep things organised. It might not have been the location that fixed it, but I had reinstalled it before, but I got the same problem.

Yeah. Running from the default location fixed it. Time to play and thanks for the support!

Re: No crashDump.zip
Recreate the crash? No problem. First, I start up Kenshi: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BCNOSKSCAAAZh3b.jpg Then, I click "OK" in the first setup menu: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BCNOUxmCcAAoSy8.jpg Then I click "OK" in the second setup menu (second image included to show you all ...

Re: No crashDump.zip
Unfortunately, I'm still not seeing it.

It's probably my fault for choosing a custom install location. I'll reinstall the thing in the default location.

I just bought a copy of Kenshi, but sadly it doesn't work. I downloaded the Kenshi 0.29.6 through the gamefront link and updated it to 0.33.0. I got through the Kenshi setup and OGRE Engine Rendering setup (I just went with the default options). The game then "crashes" without even startin...
