Lo-Fi Games

I found after many attempts that for some reason if I hit exit without hitting save (from the in-game editor) it seems to work and actually saves it, even though I didn't hit save and it let's me build in my town again. Anytime I hit save is when this problem occurs, every time.

So I was having a hard time connecting wall to gate without blocking the gate. So I destroyed a previous wall so I could get it at the right angle, now when I try to build regularly it acts as if I'm not in my own fort I spent a couple of days making this so I'd appreciate any assistance.
