Who are we paying for researching technology?
It kind of takes from the experience as a whole when we pay an imaginary entity to research technology. Surely there is a more immersing way to implement a financial hit to the player when he wants to research the next technology level. Most likely would be trading for/buying ideas, then researching...
Re: FAN ART
It's so small. It looks great but I can barely see it!

I completely forgot about about that trailer. That is utterly perfect music.

Re: Kenshi Soundtrack
In my mind I hear the Kenshi soundtrack as being mellow/ambient oriental cyberpunk. Emphasis on the mellow or ambient.
Something close to this but with the other elements mentioned:

This is just my taste, though.

Re: New kids on the block
The "veteran's" replay was more provocative than the "2 day guy's."
Way to keep your cool zalts. It would indeed be nice to see some more people working on Kenshi, I agree.

Re: Torque3D
Yeah, we should just wait until Chris has finished Kenshi, then wait until he chooses what the new game will have new and see if thoose features can be implemented in the new engine. If not, then he will have to make a new engine or improve the one he currently has to allow thoose features. I agree...

Squad Limit disabler?
Is there any such thing? I remember seeing a post that I can't find where someone had 500 men.
Torque3D
I know there is a thread along the same lines here that went down hill unfortunately but I kind of agree with the idea of swapping engines. Just look: http://www.garagegames.com/products/torque-3d This is what Rigs of Rods is moving to. They dumped Ogre, same engine as Kenshi. So many things are pre...

Re: Infinite Wingwang
I found him and talked to him once. I backed out of the conversation because I thought he wanted to brawl. Later on I had a larger squad and was ready to kick his ass then found I could just pay him 5k.
He seems well mannered to me though.

Re: Where to find a Kenshi Tutorial
Hmm, I walked with the Caravans but they do not pay anything other than a (somewhat rare) chance to level combat skills. I also noticed this does not change my status with the Trade Caravans. Currently got a small settlement going that's producing some rum. Got a shop counter up but I'm not sure if ...

Where to find a Kenshi Tutorial
Maybe the past 10 years of consoles devolving game complexity has caused my brain to shrink but Kenshi is a bit overwhelming for a first timer. I just spent 30 or so minutes trying to figure out the basics but I'm not sure where to begin. What to do. How to do things I want to do. So, my question is...
