Re: [0.62] - Bounty Bugs

I'll have to keep that in mind for next time, but if there's a problem with carrying people around for long periods of time and they did have a bounty on them, that might be worth looking into. Also doesn't explain the other situation, where the guy just stands still and other town guards try in vai...

[0.62] - Bounty Bugs

Hey Chris, This problem has happened twice in one game session, both with similar patterns to them. I noticed there's an issue where I had to hold on to a bandit boss for at least a few days, looking for a city with a jail, then I go talk to the warden. The problem, however, is that they don't recog...

What a 4 month hiatus does...

Howdy, been ages since I last actually came in these forums. I don't know where else I could post this topic, but I admittedly hadn't played Kenshi for quite some time. I think the last time was all the way back in April, I think just after the 0.42 update, which added mining and sword-crafting (may...

[0.44] Training Bug Report

Hello, I just came across this glitch and don't know whether it's been exclusive to me or if other people have found the same issue, but I want to report it regardless. I'm currently training my character to improve his attack skills in a town, but when I try to move him away from the training dummy...

Re: Automated trade routes

Oh boy, I would absolutely kill to have this implemented in the game. It would make my life so much more simple to not worry about sending someone to a base and have to worry about switching camera views, having to constantly keep moving the other character in case they stop near bandits, pausing th...

Construction Relocation

Howdy, So I was watching a youtuber talking about how he wanted to re-locate a generator inside a building, but to do so, he had to build a whole new generator and take down the old one, which obviously means a loss of 15 building material. Now in the long term, that may not mean much, but having 15...

Re: Put STAY feature back in please

I think a nice compromise would be to have it as a right-mouse feature, which alternates between 'stay' and 'at ease' depending on their current status (i.e., whether they cannot move from the spot on their own, or if they're allowed to deviate and, say, help defend allies like you mentioned).

Re: First aid and faction diplomacy issues

This is a deliberate design on Chris' part. It makes sense, really: if you're patching up your enemies or other factions, they're gonna like you just a bit more. Now granted, diplomacy itself has yet to be fully worked on, so medkits are really the only way to gain any good standing with factions. A...

Re: Poll: Which feature of the 4/05 post do you want next?

Give me smarter AI! The time has come for us to abandon our old ways of "luring bandits to large cities because they're too stupid to realize they'll die" tactics. No more should we rely on the nature of the AI to reward us; we should be rewarded only for playing smart and playing tough! I...

Re: Forbidden cities and arenas

Chris the developer has stated that arenas and tournaments are a planned thing, but not right now. That'll have to come at a later date. As for the former, well, how much I like this idea depends on your idea of what constitutes "High Tech". If you're talking robotics or anything that requ...

Well, you're in luck - Chris just threw in weapon crafting, so you can go ahead and see how that works out for you.

It's possible, but I wouldn't want to be having guys training at -5 or -4 attack and defense, that just makes no sense to me.

Re: Trains

In one of the threads regarding the use of firearms, I said that guns didn't really fit with the whole setting Kenshi has and that if they were to be implemented, they'd have to be severely rare, almost impossible to get and little means to reproduce the rounds for them. It might have been - with st...

Re: In lieu of update 0.40.5

So, just another thing regarding the latest news post; I'll probably sound a wee bit impatient for asking, but I felt like someone had to ask eventually, so I'll go ahead and bite the bullet on this one. Chris said that more research and the ability to craft weapons was going to be added 1 week from...

Re: Bandits and Balance

It wouldn't make sense for soldiers to be looting bandits. Firstly, bandits have highly inferior equipment, so there's no reason why soldiers should bother carrying around extra weapons they won't be using. Secondly, even if they do take the weapons for money, we're talking about 200 - 300 on averag...

Re: In lieu of update 0.40.5

Ah, the Guild... the sequel is a game I would love nothing more than to play for hours and hours. Thank you for reminding me about other games I really need to get my hands on. :D But I think I see what you're saying, at least for the first two points. Things like that and what I mentioned are what ...

Mmmm, I can just imagine myself pulling off a dragon warrior look, with the top hat and the cape blowing in the wind as I walk through the valley as I twirl my bo staff in hand...

Minus, you know, being a panda. Otherwise, I fully support cloaks and emblems.

Re: I'VE BEEN ROBBED!

... I like what Lupine is saying. I'd totally be on-board for an idea anywhere close to this. Although if we're going to have notes being used, it would only make sense, then, that forgers would exist, and that could just as easily have a huge impact on the economic system, especially if you're a co...

Re: Research should be more Complicated...

Not gonna lie, Beckz has a pretty good idea on what we could do to improve research on the whole. Longer research time is nice and all, but needing to continuously go out into the world to improve ourselves definitely seems to make sense for me.
