Re: Comment/Opinion about the Worldsize in Gamedesign Blog
I see what you mean, though what I meant wasn't so much a toggle. I meant it could generate a world based off of a string you enter, like minecraft's "seeds". Of course one of them would have to be "default". With this method you could replay a world you liked, or easily share w...

Re: Assign permanent jobs to characters
My understanding is that this type of feature is already among the features Chris intends to implement. A lot of the automation that I think will eventually be part of the game (including greater storage functionality, for example) is just stuff that will come later.

Re: Sandstorms
No objection there, buddy! I'd love to see more environmental depth. Bsaed off the description of the weapon crafting station, which informs you that if placed outside it may suffer weather damage, lead me to believe that similar conditions will eventually be a part of the game.

Just saying, I definitely would've built on the raised ground behind your camp, but I do like the way you've laid everything out.

It's best to check out the Bug Reports section when reporting these things both to see if it has been reported before and also to know where to put your experience, regardless of whether or not it has been brought up previously.

Re: Sandstorms
This would be nice to have right now, but remember that the setting we're seeing is not intended to be the final setting of the game. Other types of environments (grasslands, etc.) have yet to be added but will eventually be made part of the game so such additions would no longer make sense once tha...

That's a known bug. There's currently a bug report thread going. You can find it here.

Stone Mine VI
I'm having a bug with the first of the automated stone mines (#6 I believe) where it never detects level ground for me to be able to build it. Not quite sure what's happening. I've relaunched the application and that doesn't effect anything. Not really sure what the issue could be. Guidance apprecia...

Re: Youtube
Falkaine did a Kenshi "Lets Play" a while back that's made me want to do one eventually but I want to wait and get more familiar with the game and let it progress more (to be able to more effectively showcase the game in its intended form). It was entertaining enough and cool to see Kenshi...

Re: What do you want next?
There will be depth, if not necessarily variety, though I think it's more than safe to assume that there will be more variety to come. Speaking of unarmed combat, that's one thing I'm particularly excited to delve into and get to use.

Re: Limit 10 People Per Squad
I think the inconvenience is truly minimal and I think the automation that we can expect in the game will alleviate a lot of these difficulties.

Re: Poll: Which feature of the 4/05 post do you want next?
Armour and clothing crafting, ideally accompanied by new research tiers, but that's really interchangeable with the weapon crafting and it makes sense for it to wait until after the new character and armor artwork comes out. That said, it's still my preference, even if I am generally happy with the ...

Re: Group formation/ fast travel/ faction limit/ store/ marr
Level 2 training dummies get you up to 10, which I have found to be enough to then level up against hungry bandits, but some sparring functionality would be nice to get to maybe 15 or so and also level dexterity, if equipped properly, and also defense.

Re: Periodic Saving
Actually, the single save slot was intended. Originally, it was to be autosave only with just the one slot, as a way to force players to live with whatever good or bad things happened. That was my understanding too. In fact, Mount & Blade offers a "realistic mode" where you can't quit...
