Dress up a high stat npc like the Bugmaster in full masterwork heavy armor and then wack at him with the crappiest light weapon you own.

I can't reach that locked thing at the workshop complex.

There is a cannibal tower sought of the cannibal capital, the ramp usually has loot that re-spawns, the second level is full of cannibals but they are easy enough to beat. Loot in boxes doesn't seem to re-spawn.

The bugmaster has great stats, my highest unit has 80+ stats and is still weaker.
The area around the bugmaster is full of spiders that are pretty strong as well.
