I have noticed a difference when creating multiple research benches. With one bench with a 90+ science guy, it takes 1.4 game hours to complete an hour of tech. With 5+ benches it reduced the time to 1 game hour for each tech hour.

The trade posts have the large med kits. The smaller kits can be purchased from the Adv Item Trader in most towns.

Just run a integrity check if you are steam.
Right click Kenshi listing -> Properties
Lick on the local files tab
Click Verify Integrity of Game Cache
Works like a charm.
