Alright, I've solved the problem, I just created a new character and edited the stats of the new character in the Construction Set. I have no clue how to get rid of a topic, so I guess I'll just type what I did in case any other people have this problem and don't want to lose most of their progress....

Check his Encumbrance/Combat status. It's entirely possible to have vitals seeming ok with a character who is dead. Somewhere in that info it should say DEAD if that's the case =p It doesn't actually say that he's dead. He just lies there. I think you only die if your blood reaches a certain point ...
