Re: When unarmed is added....
Yeah an Ip man style would mean no need to worry if they have weapons or not. Though like some one stated a fighting style that takes out arms or legs and not just going for the kill. I wish you could do something like that with the sword play as well. yea that might be a nice feature to add to swo...

Re: When unarmed is added....
Probably more like Judo or Aikido, the throwing part anyway. I'd be very interested in some Chinese martial arts showing up, although...Kenshi seems to focus more on the Japanese styles. Either way, unarmed is probably going to be my favorite. Agreed! nothing shows character progress better than yo...

Re: When unarmed is added....
Would definitely love to see multiple styles of hand-to-hand. Personally, I just want to be able to grab and throw bodies around. :D Wrestling? that would be great. tossing a bandit boss off of a roof onto some OTHER bandits. Maybe some fighting style meant for debilitating the enemy without killin...

Re: When unarmed is added....
im just wondering how he might implement unarmed combat. i mean there are many forms of hand to hand in the real world. so i was thinking like having a martial arts vendor/trainer that let you equip fighting styles as opposed to weapons allowing you to swap to see what ones you like? i mean the fina...

When unarmed is added....
So I was thinking about how Chris intends to at one point add an unarmed fighting mechanic into Kenshi and i cant help but hope that when he does add it he might add a new game start for it. I was brainstorming a few names for it if it ever becomes a reality; "Path of the Successor" is my ...

Yea i couldn't help but laugh when i read that the first time! I'm sure if i looked hard enough i would find quite a few more humorous messages in there but I still dont know how i managed the error in the first place.

im kind of worried. granted i can just re verify and everything but i gotta admit it's kind of sad seeing an error message never meant to be found. Anyone else ever see this unicorn?

Re: Turrets and how fun they are.
I'll have to give that a shot; mostly because my base is far too large to just fill with buildings so an arena like that would fill up some much needed void. But the MK II turrets have about a 70% kill ratio so filling up something that large may take some time. I'm looking forward to watching harpo...

Re: Turrets and how fun they are.
I would use them to fight my men if they didn't immediately try to flee the moment i open the cage doors. granted they have nowhere to run as they are enclosed in my base. it kind of gets annoying to have to send someone to kill off the small pile of huddling cannibals and bandits in the corner or m...

Turrets and how fun they are.
Since these turrets have been implemented I decided it was time to move house from my original outpost spot on a plateau near Cat...i mean Capan. Once there i set out making a fine base in the middle of the wastes and decided to name it "Cassandra" in honor of a favorite show of mine. i ad...

Re: Basic gate navigation issue
its rather narrow. i found an area near Catan i found to be easily defend-able from bandit attacks before walls were re introduced. and with the new walls around them its even safer. there is only one entrance; a narrow ditch like area with only my gate in the way which is just big enough to block t...

Basic gate navigation issue
not 100% what the cause of this is. but i just recently finished my wall and gate that surrounds my soon to be full sized town. but when i close and lock the gate upon seeing bandits and the like to give my squad time to assemble. the one who closes the gate then runs back to the gate before anythin...

Town Guards (for YOUR base!)
While its all well and good to keep your base safe yourself by keeping a few of your squad-mates behind to tend to the nerds and blacksmiths of your outpost. once you've gone and made yourself an actual fledgling town you start to attract the attention of a bit too many bandits for a few squaddies t...

Beds and how springy they apparently are.
So i spotted some poor dead cat town guards lying half dead in the baking sun and decided it was up to my squad medic to save whomever he could. upon bandaging the only survivor and bringing him back to base i told him to set him on a bed so he could heal faster because i'm nice like that. this is t...

Re: Ladders or other scale-able objects.
Well it would certainly add a layer of dynamics that i for one would enjoy. Also having guard towers in surrounding areas of your outpost would be very cool in my opinion; lets hope we get the chance to see them! I also hope climbing might work on cliff faces themselves as i have an outpost i plan o...

Ladders or other scale-able objects.
As I've seen in game there will be a climbing mechanic in the near future so i'm also hoping you might be able to add objects such as ladders or small staircases that you could form to a wall or tall object (guard towers perhaps?). In many cities you see NPC's running around in emergency mode and i ...
