Canada day!

How bout some love for your pals the Canadians, who've always been there for you to supply oil, lumber, maple syrup and beaver pelts. Incase you didn't, heck even I have to Google it sometimes, Canada became a country in 1867 with the bna act of 1867 making nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec and new Bruns...

Re: Defeat Scenes and Victory Scenes

Perhaps a glory/infamy scale. How much of either determines the ending. Perhaps if you retire like you can in mount and blade. Neutral/unknown could have you or your squad walking in the sunset as silhouettes. Infamous/bad could have you hanged or being executed. Glory/good could have you sitting in...

Pain

People get cut up alot in this game so either everybody has either a disorder or is a bloody badass because they feel so pain. So far you only get differences in character performance if the limb reaches 0, but what of in between? Depending on how the character is getting rested a pain meter should ...

Different instruments added as combat changes

Way back when when I had a subscription to Nintendo Power this guy had a pretty okay idea he sent as fanmail. His idea is that combat would follow a certain tune in zelda, but as different enemies are introduced so are instruments. You could get attacked by a spider so a violin would play to your fi...

Re: Clothing suggestions / Inspiration

While I would like to see my Captain swordsman fighting a axe and should wielding chieftain surrounded by corpses of fallen allies and enemies in a winter forest, how would shields play out balance and animation wise? I could see them greatly improving defense while decreasing attack but animations ...

Re: a bad upcoming feature?

I think robotic limbs are a really good idea. Kenshi takes place in a post-apocalyptic asiatic-cultured world. We can assume that people are keeping the samouraï's spirit, while still taking old saber and bladed weapon (samouraï even hated the bow, considering it as a non-noble weapon in medieval j...

Audio log 52, day 256 Our encampment was attacked by some ninjas today. Bloody bastards took our God damn fuel, our settlement has no power. We're sending out a party of 5 to the nearest town. It will include myself, jinsei our most skilled fighter,2 of our newish recruits and our best medic. Audio ...

Question about stats and numbers

New to this game, just had it for over a week now but I'm having difficulty understanding some things. Each item has 0.# as a stat. From what I have biggers means better, but what do these represent? Does the 0.81 mean it takes 81% of an enemies health and does 0.30 for armour mean it blocks 30% of ...

Re: Real Combat

I find the skills level being the same thing abysmal myself so i'm just gonna by the averages when it comes to skill. Pirates are thieves, overglorified bandits. Their skills come from knowing the best way to get a ships cargo and goods, not duking it out man to man. Equipment wise all the have are ...
