you can fix thier difficulty yourself. Go into the game files and look for the forgotten construction kit. its the game editor. people keep missing this tool.

the way i got around this was in the game files there is a forgotten construction kit. Load the game data in that and go all the way down to the bottom to "Game Start -offs". I edit the "Freedom Seekers" start to give me 50 guys right off the bat. all you do is change the the num...
