Re: Irritation with the Racial Bonuses
-snippity snip- One example would be athletics. As the human body really was built for running. I can get behind that, seeing as we have some tribes in Africa that hunt by literally tiring the animal out with our superior energy management. We don't actually run faster, we're just smart about conse...

Re: Gladiators
Having people search helps for many reasons. Keeping the same type of request in others that have already been posted helps keep down on request clutter. this also cuts down on the Devs need to hunt down feature requests and which ones are popular. This can also help evolve the idea that's been req...

Re: Gladiators
been suggested many times already try using search first before posting feature requests. this helps keeping down double feature requests which we already have tons of. if i remember right, a Dojo type building will be added to the game. I think it might be a good idea not to discourage people who ...

Re: lofi
Change the team! Get a timeline and hire people who can solve the issues! Firing someone isn't as easy as one might think it is. There may be legal complications, like, if employee felt his dismission was unjustified he/she can actually open a lawsuit against your company. Which would lead to the c...

Re: Criticize Us Here
Game devs usually show progress in spasms. Some stuff take way longer to conclude than others. Kenshi is still building a good solid base on which they will expand upon. I remember some people raging at the Zomboid forums for a while because they weren't releasing any new updates for a few weeks, so...

Re: VOTE: Help the dev team solve an argument
Since this game seems to have a lot of customization, it`d be nice to include numbers so we can easily re-create models we see in the internet for our own purposes without needing to upload no char.file in no dropbox or whatever, just a picture or some writing will do the trick.

Re: I'm Covered in *CENSORED*!
How come swarms of insects/*CENSORED* haven't *buzzed* their way in yet? ;) Sounds realistic, but it might get annoying after a while. It's important to try and balance realism and entertainment, specially in games like these. Pooping and peeing would also be realistic, but having to do that in gam...

Re: Efficient cannibalism and Effigies
That seems like an excellent idea  Bandits hardly give two rats about you and your retinue, even if you're a bunch of fearless warriors, top-geared war machines, but a Fear System could be truly, truly amazing, some sort of adornments, enemy trophies to wear on your armors to give the enem...

Re: World Bosses
Sounds great. I'd love to see a huge monster swimming in the sand, fucking bitches and taking names, being worshipped by tribes and having people sacrificed in their names. The problem is that animating, modeling and programming such a creature in an already complex game is kind of difficult. Maybe ...

Cool. What about effigies? I'd love to make a character based on Vlad the impaler.

Efficient cannibalism and Effigies
As of now if I'm not mistaken, cannibals can only lock you in the the cells, throw you on the grill and then they eat you. I'd like to see cannibals actually cutting off limbs and eating a person bit by bit. It doesn't have to be a specific animation for each limb, just a universal one. When one of ...

Re: MOUSE4 and MOUSE5 support
Any Razer mouse uses a software that enables the user to bind any button to whatever the hell they want. I suspect a company as popular Logitech may have a similar function. Try messing around with your Logitech driver, it might even enable you to bind macros to it. My MOUSE4 in Kenshi is bound to s...

Re: Concerned and need reassuring with progress
That`s why I mentioned Zomboid, a game by a really community active Indie dev called Indie Stone. the outburst of rage that went on in the forums due to a few busted deadlines really demotivated the devs, and we all know how morale is important in any kind of business. Some forum users were even ac...

Re: Concerned and need reassuring with progress
Progress update Steam Announcement of Progress No due dates is the Devs decision, this is so he can take his time finishing the game and not be rushed to meet an expected deadline that might not be possible to fulfill. Kind of unprofessional not to set deadlines. But then again after seeing what de...

Re: Project management
Jokes aside, that was a legitimate question. I`m curious if they have any sort of process to go through things, or if they have people with special assignments like HR, PR and QA. Who knows, the guys at Lo-Fi Games might have the perfect business model for a small indie game developer. I knew this o...

Project management
Hey Kenshi people whatsup? I`ve been playing this game for quite a while now and i really like the whole sandended, openbox X4-esque thing going on. I`m curious however, to see how the team is working. Do they hold weekly meetings to report on their general progress? Do they use any project manageme...
