If all characters you recruited were from a mod, they will be deleted if you do not load the mod. I lost about three characters because I forgot to load a mod.

I am not sure why the auto generation of inventory icons of player-made weapons had bad meshes, but it was the case for all of them. I fixed it temporarily by copying and pasting the correct icons and pairing them with their respective names for player-made weapons.

I've done several solutions available on forums accessible by Google. I can play the game but I get occasional crashes where I cannot load the save file.
