For 2.0r they are redoing a large chunk of the graphical engine to make graphical development alot alot alot faster.

No no no, that is the latest OFFICIAL release. Go to their site to get the latest beta, it's quite a ways past 1.5d. The beta releases are around monthly on average I think.

Zomboid is going very slowly, although to be fair, the recent delay in 0.2.0r was a monster graphical bug from what I heard
