I want an imperator-class titan kicking a** at the sound of either the sountrack of Emperor of the Fading Suns, Dawn of War 2 or Halo: Combat Evolved.

How about a workout bench for training strength, and umm...something for dexterity? :D

No need for a workout bench (why a workout bench anyway? there is enough manual labor to go around in the world of Kenshi). Just the ability to train stats by doing appropriate work, like working in the mine or on the fields for strength and working stills and ovens for dexterity.

I would like my suggestion to be included, not right now, but in the future. This is because it would make this game sooo awesome...

What about some sort of Co-op/Simple Multiplayer? Is there any mods for this? Would love to start a settlement that shares time speed with other buds (like Supreme Commander 2). Would be a big selling point as well and it would not be that hard to stick in the game.

Also, I feel bad if this has been mentioned before

It has been mentioned before, and multiplayer in any shape or form is unlikely to happen.

Aside from what I voted for, some more realistic terrain-mobility implementation would be nice. I started a base with a 180-ish degree drop-off on one side, sheer mountain face about two buildings high, thinking it was an obvious safe spot, limit the angles of approach by enemies.. then was surprised to see a bandit party leap over that sucker like superman.

I second this and feel the exact same way about it that he does. :D

If you want the ability to keep your factions, then what about this shamefully self-advertised faction enhancing suggestion?

Pressing 'M' for opening/closing the map, and 'I' for opening/closing the inventory would make this so much faster. Maybe I'm just too twitchy from playing too much Heroes of Newerth...

I don't mind either way, hell I could be the only one that wants this, I'm waiting for more depth than killing bandits (building).

Shudoh, we already have hotkeys
Try pressing M and I in-game before requesting it

You should always proofread carefully to make sure you didn't any words out.

And maybe some sound? huhu

Haha same. I have some counterintuitive pathing. However, I'd rather see more features, rather than 'quality of life' type additions right now.

Crafting is huge for me. Trading. Further Research Trees / Buildings Deeper Faction Interaction.

Story would be nice, but I do see that as more of a 'QoL' type addition, even if it is something I value greatly.

Anything that makes it possible / enjoyable to play the game for longer and help perpetuate the time I spend playing it / having goals of ever-increasing ambition would be nice, really. I personally believe that the four things I mentioned would really provide that foundation. Honestly, further research trees could even be delayed if the other 3 were hammered out, though crafting and trading would undoubtedly include some new buildings / research options.

I'm loving this game. I've been waiting a long time for something like this to come out. It blends my favorite genres together in a beautiful way-strategy and rpg. Here are some game elements that could make this awesome game even more awesome.

1. Online play
2. Extended terrain maps
3. Be able to integrate into existing towns instead of having to build outpost outside of towns. Should be able to build buildings within towns (expanded) and buy/sell buildings.
4. New buildings and career paths. More shops. Ability to expand franchises between towns. Bigger buildings as well as building complexes.
----Dojos to train warriors. Dojo master profession.
----Monasteries to train monks. Add religion allegiance to each town and be able to convert characters. Perhaps issue fatwas on neighboring towns and recruit warriors to overthrow the town government.
----Horse breeders/traders. Horses/camels to make trekking across the desert easier. Perhaps 15,000 cadets each.
----Hostels. Instead of just sleeping, have more interactive experience. Be able to rest, eat, research at hostel.
----Narcotics trade/Black market trade/Servants, etc.
5. Town governments. New character types. Mayors, city-councils, diplomats, etc. Appointed mayors by Emperor or President or elected mayors (depending on the political dynamics/system of the town). Characters able to run for mayor including privileges such as demolishing buildings, constructing buildings, issuing building permits, instructing police to guard certain areas, maintaining city budget, taxes, declaring war against another town, making trade routes, placing bounties, etc.
6. Bigger towns/metropolis where players can help to expand the town and automatic construction progress by AI and mayor. Bigger populations inhabiting towns.
7. Emperor and Imperial City. Princes with entourage. Kings, Queens. Home city to each faction. AI assassination attempts to Emperor/mayors, military coups, town revolts and revolutions.
8. Bigger and expanding economy, trade routes. Specialized materials, ability to create specialty items and research new items.
9. Water/oasis where one can heal in middle of desert. Caves, etc.
10. More clothing options (scarves flowing in the wind, hoods, Dune-like clothing, etc.
11. More face options and character customization.

Please let me know if I can help in any other way (for free!). I've posted some bug reports as well.

I'm a long-time strategy and rpg player and would love more gameplay elements like these to be included in the overall concept of the game to make it more interactive, intense, dynamic, and fun to play. Thanks for the great concept! This game has the potential to be one of the greatest games ever made!!!!! :D

Online play will most likely never happen. I like your other suggestions, though.

Uhm you guys are aware this is an alpha version right :D ?

U should play europe universalis or something like that

Its getting a little tiresome reading about things that people want ingame.
While its been stated that it will or wont be implemented. 8-).

I am quite sure every1 has his own very good idea's but to implement em all, i think Chris will be very old before he has designed the game to all our wishes.

Ow BTW: Chris i want a pink Mammoth mount plz

The number one thing I want and what's preventing me from buying the game right now is more variety in weapons especially. Right now it's "Do you want to be a swordsman, a stronger swordsman, or a faster swordsman?" I'd like some kind of more variety in combat - even just the crossbows implemented would make me buy this right away. I understand the game's primarily about sword fighting, but even Zeno Clash (a game centered around hand to hand combat) had a variety of weapons in it.
