I dont know if its coverd here in the forums but im making a new topic cos its 4.30am and i should be sleeping.
My main gripe with Kenshi atm and yes i know its in alpha which is the whole reason im posting is the trading system its just plain shite. I mean u sell a weapon and it dont fit in the slot instead of saying nope it picks up another item meaning u have to buy it or buy back ur sword u sold or clothing at full price. I hope they is going to be a update that will make the selling and buying system much better. But as i said thats my only gripe i have atm rest of the game im having a good time playing it.
Trade system
So uhh... there's a way around repeatedly selling and buying stuff back when trying to shuffle stuff around at a trader. With both inventories open, you are capable of dropping something from YOUR inventory (do not try to do this from the trader's inventory) on the ground. IE you buy some armor but can't fit it in your inventory because of a sword, then just drop the sword and have another squad member pick it up.
that being said, dropping items can cause them to be lost sometimes, so it's a good idea to save before doing any big trading like that, just in case.

Inventory tetris is always frustrating. At some point that sort of behavior will be addressed, but until then try selling at a bar. They only have a few food and drink items, typically. You can sell most or all of your items without having to mess with a shopkeepers inventory.
Cool cheers for the tip ill try this. Shame ive gotta start again as this update as killed my game by making 4 of my 7 peeps stick in a mountain lolClawdius Talonious wrote:Inventory tetris is always frustrating.
