Is there a list of areas with lot of flat surface for town-building? I remember some near Catan but i never liked those too much.
I just imported a new save keeping only the squad so i'm looking for a new place to build my homebase

there is no list that i know of for flat spots.
but there are posts about best place to build your town.
use search to find em
