This is a poll for one thing
Optimization.
The amount of super crashes is rising at an alarming rate and i personally think its time Kenshi should focus on this.
what do you think?
i gave a myriad of choices, but note i give you one option, so vote wisely.

I'd rather the god-creator worry about optimization after he implements samurai fighter jets for our characters to pilot.

Problem with optimizing now, is that I think you have to re-optimize anytime you change a mechanic of the game. So when the new AI-pathing goes in, they would have to re-optimize the game for that. And anytime they had to change existing code due to conflicts with new content, they would have to re-optimize that part of the code as well. Unless I don't understand how optimization works, I think it's something that has to wait for the end of the development process to happen.

So I voted for: Optimize what? i run fine as it is

I'd rather have the dev work on features instead, the current super crashes take 1-2 hrs to occur or even longer. Is it annoying? Yes, but the real question is, does it prevent the game from working? No, we can exist with it for now, unless cases pop up where there are crashes every 30 min, I think its something that should be monitored, but not treated until more important things have been worked out.

OH MY GURD! Where is my 200 FPS COUNT? On tripple A games I get over 1000 FPS! This game should atleast have the decency to give me my 200 FPS!

In fact, I want the dev to ship me a box of 200 FPS along with an apology note now!

As stated earlier, optimization would have to happen so frequently that it would slow progress down a huge amount.

Personally, I don't crash at all, but I do sympathize with those that do. However, I think most of the features should be implemented before optimization begins.

From what i understand, the crashes have been linked to a memory leak in the path finding system. I also understand that a new path finding system is in the works. hopefully the new system will be implemented soon, and this will fix the problems.

Trouble is, the game is being sold and test-played. The more unplayable it is, the fewer sales; we want to keep Chris and the team living their lives of decadent luxury so they have plenty of time to work on the game. Also, fewer people running around in the game, testing it for free and coming up with ideas.

Optimize it, even if its not entirely a step forward programming-wise. Business-wise it makes good sense.

I like bees.

Optimization would be lovely at some points... I'm a sufferer of the constant crashing on kenshi (Doesn't help that i only have 2gig of ram).

I don't really care if the game runs slowly. What i do care is if the game breaks after a while due to memory leaks.

Aren t they alraedy working on optimiyation? at least i remmeber to see that last time i saw the roadmap on work.

EDIT: My bad, guess i saw something else which made me confuse, i seen lately lot of crashes from others but when i played had none after the first at 60 or so, but i had few time since then, still would be nice to have it in, then it would be kinda off the way already, tho i am divided, performance shouldn t be a priority when you just buildig the core, problem is thelarge ammount of plaers due to earl access, to me wouldn t bother not be now, for both ntbad to me but also because i payed to support the game not to play it right away tho i just cannt keep me away of it cuz is that awesome
It s Hbrown!! Gotta get some pies!

I would rather rate for a dynamic mission system, before optimization. I want to have things to do while i wait for a very major update.
