This should be the link to a picture posted on the Kenshi Official Facebook page. Its a glimpse at the new swamp like biome!

If I don't delete this thread assume the link works.

It looks very nice if I have to say.
Now the question in my head is:
Will we be able to go trough the water, or will we have to keep to the land bridges?

I personally hope they add sunken cities into the swamps to add more depth to them and allow us to explore the cities to find hidden blueprints or underground areas that can be used as a outpost.

I'm looking forward to it, however they go with it. Hope there's still plenty of desert though.

I'm hoping we'll be able to march through it at a reduced pace, but people with artificial limbs will have to take them off and/or be carried, as that would give an excuse for cute artwork and embarrassing but endearing moments. Or for larger / more infested bodies of water, more prepared groups will be able to take a raft, small (up to 5 people) row boat. Then again, confirmed no vehicles so...

No idea yet, but i would like to see bridge building become a thing for the more temperate or wet lands... or hell even in very mountainous lands, to build awesome citadels atop mountain peaks... which is what i want to do.

Good idea, you should bring that up in the feature requests. I would personally love random loots to be added. Would make being an explorer or just exploring worth it.

Here is another newish biome picture... i believe anyways (also from the facebook page). Not quite as deserty IMO but close. There is a lot of other cool photos on that page including concept art for things such as crossbows.
AND..

I only think this is also part of the new world map because i don't remember ever seeing this in the current Kenshi biome... and i have been pretty much everywhere in it a lot. I have been playing a long time so it's possible i just forget seeing this BUT i do believe its also new.

Obligatory quote from another thread of me linking related feature request threads:

Bridges and Beams
Also: that apostrophe plural makes me weep.
The thread was named "Ramp's".

Rare (blueprints) loot is cool, but I'm not so sure about random (blueprints) loot. I realize that this game has a heavy emphasis on randomly generated content, but randomized loot means there's a chance that a player may never get that loot. And when its something as important as buildings, the players kinda need to be able to access it, right?

Now that you mention those two thread i remember seeing them before...

Yeah when i wrote random i thought about changing it because random loots didn't seem like it would be good if the point in exploring would be to find the very rare stuff.

I personally meant rare blueprints since I would like them to be hard to find and guarded by high level mobs or even inside of a factions base that may or may not allow you to enter without fighting. :D

Yeah I'm actually gonna be working on a mod to make a really hard 'boss' that will roam around with some good stuff on him/her... assuming you find the boss before all the AI. That's also assuming they can even kill said boss. I don't think bandits will pose much of a threat to it. Cannibals may however... if you bump up the population counters. I say that because even my really bad arse character will go Down from shear numbers if he is alone.
