I voted for adding endurance.
One of my favorite things in Kenshi is working on building up the stats of my squad members, especially my "main" character.

Some times I'll have the whole squad with those running sandals just running back in forth in the desert to increase their athletics.

I believe multi threading would be pretty important at this point. The squad limit of 20 is starting to feel somewhat small number now that bunch of new features, such as the turrets, have been introduced.

And ever since I first got to Kenshi, I've been just itching to enlist to a big army of other nation and take part to a big fight and just try to survive :P

Not just to increase the squad cap, but it could also improve the issues we are currently having with memory leaks, or at least make it take longer to crash. :p

I'm all for multi threading. The reason I started playing again was because I thought you could have more people (squad multiplier fooled me into thinking the limit was now 80), and I'd like to have enough people that I could have dedicated labourers without taking too much from my defence force.

I voted for multithreading but before that, I think the game should be stabilized (fix super crash in priority). Then the game operation foundation may be changed without worsen unfixed bugs.

Multithreading upgrade is a hard and deep modification because the game architecture must be changed. Furthermore, related bugs will occur for sure. But keep in mind that, the more the game grows, the more calculation power is needed, inevitably. So the earlier multithreading is done, the easier new improvements will be and the better the game will be pleasant to play (smoothered game, reduced lag during savegames, better path-finding, more NPCs/squad, new functionalities that were not be implemented without it...) .

Good luck and keep going!

I also agree with the toaster. Though i do think that AI needs some fixing first.
Pathfinding is a big issue right now.. and there aren't really alot of options on dialogue.

If you really want to draw more buyers fast though, i think you should add ranged weapons first. (Some people enjoy ranged weapons way too much and it would be something magical for them.)

I voted for AI as well. Especially pathfinding and decision logic. Just some pointers:

- walls are non-existant when the AI is attacking/running around (Check Cannibal Camp 2)
- a squad becomes immobile as soon as the squad leader dies.
- walking around map objects, not over. (trees, stones, walls)
- roaming Cannibals should eat bodies sometime/somewhere.
- "K.O. -> loot armor/weapon/items/money" - logic (expecially hungry bandits should do that)
- "K.O. -> strip armour/weapon + loot medpacks, break legs" - logic for Cannibals

These alone would improve gameplay a lot - even without adding more factions/cities/stuff.

Voting for Dialogue, missions and NPC's as stablization and optimization come after features in a development cycle.

The game has some great aspects but really lacks character when it comes to NPCs, factions, dialogue etc. That would be my primary focus, giving another side to the world and way of playing in the form of generated missions would be excellent.

New dialogue options with differents npc's would indeed be appreciated. Particularly in cities. I think of maybe, npcs telling us their story, helping us "merging" with kenshi's world. Would be nice, when the severed limbs feature is implemented to hear a guy in a bar telling how he lost his arm and more to cannibals during a reckless expedition into their territory.

As much as I'd like that I think we're still in the phase of building the framework of the game. The stuff in between the lines can be filled out later.

Multi-threading would be extremely handy for performance boosts, not to mention the increase in activity ingame. Love me some large-scale battles.
