Hello,

sorry if this has been discussed somewhere already.

When one of my guys gets beaten to zero on any body part, they collapse to the floor. When the battle is over, I patch them up via the medic skill but they just stay unconscious. Is there any way to get them up to their feet again?

Regards,
Chris

just wait out.
If you healed them correctly, then their body-stats should be in a yellow color which means that they will heal over time. Try using the fast forward buttom to pass time a little faster

You should always proofread carefully to make sure you didn't any words out.

How long should that take? Do the body parts need to regenerate to 100%? I've tried waiting, but even after several minute with fast forward nothing happens.
Also, can the others carry the unconscious ones somehow, or is that not yet implemented?

its not implemented yet. They should get up, it might be a bug. Do they get up if you save and re-load?

Yep, when I reload they're standing again, even if the injured body part is still negative. As of yet it's the only way I could get anyone to stand up again ever, although I've seen the odd bandit stand up after he's been looted.
Just for reference, how long would be a normal timespan to wait until they get up?

if the bandages (yellow bars) are all above zero they should get up straight away

My Squad was struck down and I saved and reloaded. One guy was in bad shape, but had everything above zero apparently, and stood up on reload, the others dropped down again. I had my last guy patch them up, now they're all bandaged (yellow bars) and all body parts are above zero, but they still don't get up.
One thing though: everyone who is still down has one body part with extremely minor red damage (98 or 99) on one of their legs which I can't get my guy to bandage for some reason. Could that be the reason?

are you 100% sure you have the latest update? I fixed something like this in 0.21.1, and nobody else has reported having this problem since then.

I had version "0.21 a0" and wasn't aware there was a new one, because neither Desura, nor the game itself or its WyUpdate give me an option to update like it did from 0.20 to 0.21. I had to download the installer from your site and install it into the old folder in order to update. When I launch the game, it still says "0.21 a0" in the window title, but at least my characters stand up when I bandage them (mostly, still seems to fail sometimes, had to reload one more time). So, I'm not really sure if I installed a newer version or the same.
I'll keep you posted if this issue continues.

that happens on mine sometimes, but save and reload sorts them bad boys out.

It appears to be part of the "Stay down while combat with enemies resolves" behavior.

The problem is, is that when you down your opponents, they also are subject to that behavior.

So if your guys are unconscious, then the "bad" guys stay down. Which in turn, keeps the "enemies still in range" behavior flag tripped for your guys. So it becomes a battle to see who can stay unconscious longest.

It won't be an issue when the option to drag your guys away from the fight is implemented, so I'm averse to hoping for a change to the behavior, or a toggle that I can use to force my bandaged teammates to get up.

It appears that the reason reloading works, is that it clears the current active behavior. So anyone playing dead forgets that they were doing that and also forgets that there were unconscious bad guys to hide from.

If you get the chance, that's great.

It's easily remedied in the interim. Thanks for the feedback.

Wow, I would never have thought of that. If I ever finally get around to making my own game, I'm calling you to playtest them and analyze the bugs :)

Also, @Chris_The_Great:
It would be great if this was fixed, but don't stress yourself over it. There's a seemingly reliable workaround, so there should be no hurry. Just wanted to bring it to your attention with the original post.
