Hello,
I see a lot of people talking about slavery, i'd like informations more clearly about that:
-What are iron shackles for ? except you get the title "SLAVE", slower and less fight skills
-Is it possible to craft ?
-How can i buy a slave ? when i see slavers capturing bandits and putting them in a cell i can't talk to bandits
When i went to traders camp, couldn't talk to anyone
-After buying a slave (if it's possible) will he belong to me forever or will he try to escape ?
Will he be added to the squad or just follow ? If he only follows, what happens if he gets lost somewhere on the map
-Is it possible to sell slaves ? i don't know how to "make" a slave from someone, and if it works with every man from every factions
What do you get from selling a slave ? money ?
I assume that's a lot of questions, i have no idea how this works at all, and informations about this game are not that easy to find
Thanks in advance

1) Iron shackles reduce fighting skills by -15, slow your movement speed, continually apply the SLAVE status, and give you a chance to be knocked unconscious when you take damage (even at full health, making you easier to recapture)

2) At the moment, you cannot craft iron shackles without modding.

3) You can buy slaves at the slavers buildings in cities and towns. Talk to one of the slavers there and if there are available slaves you can buy them.

5) You can sell your party members into slavery. They will continue to belong to you but they will be slaves of another faction. You will get money in compensation.

Hope this helps.

Just tried to buy a slave from a slaver in a building where there are "slaves" in a cage and doesn't work, just the mouse cursor appears green and can't talk to him ... in trader's edge

Yeah, buying slaves is kinda buggy atm but it works. Once walked into the shop and the guy I needed to talk to had half of his body inside the floor and would not speak.

Also the buy button takes effort to click because its bugged and you have to click the sweet spot to trigger a buy.

Head on over to brink, they have a slave shop right next to the inn.

New update to the slave buying. Once you "buy" the slave it is only set to ally status. They are treated as if you just freed them. after a short time they will make the choice to join you or just run away. The chance that they will join you is only about 10%.

Yes if they join they will appear in your currently selected squad window.
If they are set as an ally they will follow you around for a little while before making their choice.
But I have never actually had one join me since the last update.
