Buildings.

Not sure, where to post it, so I'll post it here.
Is it intentional that buildings position is based on normal of some point (in the middle?) of the area that i build it on instead of being them being vertical? And is there any way to place buildings properly?

if your refering to level buildings
no
its set on a underlayer of the map that roughly follows the contours of the land
if you want level buildings you can either. use the in game editor. though you will have issues with pathing to the door.
or look for a flatish spot on the map to build.

But those are boring! And shouldn't buildings be leveled (yeah, thats what i meant; not a native speaker) by default?

I feel sad when I try to build a nice wall and this is what I end up with. Buildings inside look sad too, but i just love this particular spot on a map.

for now there really is nothing you can do
the Dev stated long ago why the buildings sit as they do
what he hasn't said is if we will get a action to straighten them. and believe me he knows about this, as it's been brought up for years.

so until a Dev actually says it's coming.
The official answer for now is sorry but this is not currently possible and last i read, not currently planned.
