Whenever a limb is severed from somebody it lays on the ground.. and becomes a juicy morsel for dogs to pickup and attempt to eat. The idea of it is great, since they will pick up the limb run around and it fits the theme perfectly in my opinion.
.. However there are unfortunately several issues:
- The range at which they run around often ends up with them going too far out of range for them to notice combat has started. E.g. we clear out a squad, everyone is healing up, and then my bonedog books it and doesn't come back when more enemies come back. This is also a problem because sometimes the bonedogs will sometimes go out and, since they're running around aimlessly, attract MORE attention and wreck my weakened squad.
- They will REFUSE to listen. No matter how many times I tell it to come back and stay, hold, whatever... It will run back out. Again - it's playing, I love it.. but if we could 'cancel' that it would be fantastic. This is primarily an issue since they will sometimes grab a limb between two skirmishes and will refuse to fight in the next battle while my squad could definitely use its help (early game).
- When they're done playing limbs they don't run back from wherever they run off to.. So I have to bring up my map and have it run all the way back to base and not attract any attention where it's at. It's also silly because it'll 'play limbs' in the water and then when it finally eats the limb it'll just float out in the water for no reason and not come back.. endlessly. Fantastic stamina though, I'm impressed.
Anyone else having troubles with this?

My dogs are always at "bodyguard \ stay close to someone" job, so they always come back. I've discarded the job once, and they ran away, so i know how painfull it is

Smaller radius of play would be a welcomed tweak indeed.
Also mine are mature, but still playing.

They are supposed to stop doing that once they mature enough.
Also, you can stop them from running away if you command them to follow someone.

Guess i'll wait till they're venerable or something.
Following isn't always the fix, since they might run past the job radius, and won't return anyway.
