Do saved games from v0.21 work with v0.22?
Before day break there was none
And as it broke there was one
The Moon, the Sun, it goes on and on.

Yes they do, so you can update without worry.
There should be no problem, but if you are a really pessimistic person, you could always backup your save folder before updating to make sure you don't lose your precious characters

You should always proofread carefully to make sure you didn't any words out.

Does the terrain update? for some reason I don't think it worked for me.1337 wrote:Yes they do, so you can update without worry.

Did you download the new .exe from the internet?
Just using the auto-updater won't work this time. To be sure, you can open the file current version.txt located in your kenshi install folder.
If you are sure to be on 0.22.0 then everfything should have worked alright, just roam around for a bit, you'll get to see some scenery

some areas dont have vegetation, like the dunes.
Save games will ALWAYS be compatible with new updates, although you may want to restart from time to time if the game has been re-balanced or changed a lot since.

That's a pretty bold statement. Great to hear though. There is nothing unforseeable that might come up that would make things non-compatible?Chris_The_Great wrote: Save games will ALWAYS be compatible with new updates,

impossible, its a flexible file format. At the very least you might have to import your squad to a new game, but I will put options in that to reimburse you for buildings you owned, copy faction relations etc.
