Now that heavy armor has so much penalties and are almost only useful for tanks. Can this game have a role of tank, using Taunt?
I have tried tanks in only melee squads and in melee + ranged and didn’t noticed much difference :\
Thanks

I regularly use taunt with my best fighters. They tend to attract a few more of the but not all of the enemy away from either bowmen, or weaker fighters. I don't "tank" anyone, but sometimes I do set my taunter to defense and let the archers pick off the enemy. You have to make sure your archers are well away from the fight. when you shoot someone they will turn their attention to you, and if you are close they will engage. But if you are far enough away, then they tend to turn back to the taunter.

I once (like in .4 or something) had 1 of my guys taking a whole squad on with taunt and block. I then selected my other members and attacked the people attacking my tank 1 at a time. Honestly since then I have not even had the need to set a "tank" and do that, so I'm not sure if it can still be done with ranged, but I would suggest running another tank over to the ranged and making them use their melee weapons to stop your guys from dying. Or you can select their archers one at a time with your squad of archers to limit their amount of damage. Either way the taunt button exists. Whether or not it's like an MMO where one attack makes them attack you forever I am not sure, but that would be kind of nice seeing as how squishy some armor can be.

As for animals with large attack ranges like leviathan I think you're SOL.
