South Hivers don't eat Raw Meat and Foul Raw Meat

I don't know if this is intended, or if it's just something that slipped and got forgotten about, but South Hivers do not consume Raw Meat and Foul Raw Meat (or Human Teeth) like their cousins, the regular Hivers, do.
It just seems a bit weird.

Of course, this was something easy to mod in, but it would be nice if it got patched in to the base game, unless there's a reason for it being the way it is.
It's worth mentioning that I have yet to explore the whole final part of the map to see if we can even recruit any South Hivers there, but I do for certain know of one South Hiver Worker that we can recruit in the base game, and it was disappointing that he wouldn't share the same diet as his cousins.
