As the title says autodump make characters dump the weapon from thier main slot into the apropriate container
Not sure if this is a bug or a feature.
Maybe the autodump could be expanded to allow for selective auto dumping (like not dumping food) or have different ai rules for each squad?
Auto dump is dumping weapon slot 1

it does it for weaponsmiths for some odd reason.
Do you believe the sexes should be equal?
Oh heavens no.
Then Men would become unmanageable
Current computer specs.
AMD FX-8150 - Eight Core, 3.60GHz
NVidia GTX 1050TI
24GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600 MHz Ram
WD 1tb HD, 870 EVO 1TB SSD

Is it really odd though?
It's the only sure way to prevent characters not working the weapon smithy due to them being unable to pick up the weapons it produces. Because some weapons are so large the only slot a character can put such weapons in is their main weapon slot. Some backpacks do provide a large enough space but the developers can't guarantee that all characters that work the weapon smithy have such backpacks. So this is the only way.
Makes perfect sense.
But I do find it rather annoying behavior.

I consider auto-dump to be a broken feature and immediately turn it off when I start a new game.

Under the AI menu. I don't actually know a hotkey for it, though there may be one. I usually access it via the Squads or Map function of the UI.
This makes sense but what I don't understand is why the inventory is too small for the largest weapons.Vandala wrote: ↑Fri Mar 15, 2019 5:14 pmIs it really odd though?

Maybe because the biggest weapons are too big to hold them in your pockets? I think it was rather "realistic" (if we can talk about realism in this game) way not to make everybody runing with a shitton of planks without having proper, big bags for such weapons.
Me too. Weaponsmith dumps primary weapon. If auto-haul is managed per AI player, it should be toggeleable. Auto-haul button lit - dump all this class items. Unlit - just ignore that storage. Clearing all jobs and switching Auto-dump does nothing for me.
