Most hated creature to face in Kenshi, the blood spiders. They are small and I never see them coming. They can take a limb off, Knock out or outright kill a wounded fighter in one bite. And they often come in swarms. I never have an encounter with them that I don't have someone needing to spend time in a bedroll or having to be carried. They are the thing I hate to see the most.

Your right I forgot about them. I was thinking of living things. Good fit under the OTHER category. Along with the Broken Ones.

Imma have to say three Beak Things only because I've made a habit of looting their eggs for money. I can't tell you how many hours I've spent reloading saves because I get caught and killed.

Beak things are one of the best renewable resources in the game.

Beak Things are pretty easy to avoid and when encountered in reasonable amounts rather easyish to manage. Most of the time you can't really outrun them but with 26mph+ you are most of the time able to zig-zag-evade their hits and get to the next settlement.

Blood Spiders though can f**k you up real good in a single hit and are hard to spot and avoid when in dense vegetation. Plus they seem to be able to run through water. So once they spot you crossing a puddle in the swamps, you're pretty much done for, since they'll get to whichever land you're heading for first.

In my first hour of game-play, my team was starving. I did't know how to find food yet.

After days of walking in the desert, i've spotted for the first time animals !! I was like : YES food !! So i aproached them to perform an attack, and realised that those things started running at me like crazy. Result : everyone got dismembered and died from bleeding or eated alive by Beak Things

So yeah, i have an early game trauma with those things, even now when i figured out how to fight them

I voted "other" for Holy Nation Priests/Inquisitors - they annoy me seriously.

Bone dogs because I feel the worst afterwards.

At this point Black Dragon Ninjas annoy me most. Their raids usually come in small numbers and they go down fairly easily but, they tend to run straight for your food supply, ignoring any defenders. If you're not at home to notice them coming and fail to close your city gates in time, then you always have to go through their bodies afterwards to check for and recover the food they've stolen.

My corpse disposal guy usually takes back stolen loot before incinerating them but, this is not a 100% reliable automated solution. You have to check all their inventories to make sure you don't lose too much.

You can fool them with a "dummy" food supply and the amount they take has little impact on your overall food supply but, still annoying. Like chasing rats around a warehouse...
