All stores in Squin are gone or closed and wont open?

Has anyone gone to a town and had all of the Shops disappeared (no signs up on the outside) and when you go in, the shop keeper tells you the store is closing (including a bar which I though never closed), but the shop never opens? Happened to me for Squin which sucked because that was my main source food for the early game. I reloaded and they are still closed, and tried verifying game files and no luck. Maybe the town was invaded?

you can try the repopulate option in the f12 menu. that might do it. Otherwise you could import to a fresh game. And they should return.
