Hi, just got the game with the Indiefort Bundle (after looking at it for quite awhile) and I have some questions about the trading system.
1. This is probably a stupid question, but how do you buy things from traders? I can sell things, but I don't know how to buy things.
2. Are the mark-ups constant between the different cities, or do they fluctuate over time?
3. Will the components (Rum, robotics, steel, etc.) be craftable at any point?
4. This is unrelated to trading, but how do you build stuff?
Thanks for any answers.

http://www.lofigames.com/phpBB3/viewtop ... f=10&t=935 Post the question under this topic. (Helps to prevent clutter

).
Question 1: There are no stupid questions, only stupid people

(Just kidding

). If you have enough CATS (The currency in Kenshi) you click on the item and drag it from the shopkeeper's pack to yours.(But, you must also have enough room to fit the item). The price of the Item is called value and the sell price of the item is called trade-value. Unless you are experiencing a glitch this should work.
Question 2: I believe that the prices of certain items differed from town to town.
Question 3: According to related posts there will be mining/farming/businesses, which will most likely manufacture/craft goods.
Question 4: You cannot build/craft in the current version of Kenshi (There is an integrated/in-game map editor, however (Visit
Modding topic to learn more)). Also, when building construction is implemented into Kenshi the structure will act as a shell and you will be able to decide what to put in it.

1. I believe you can additionally right click to get it instantly put in your inventory.
2. At the moment the market doesn't fluctuate. Price variation is calculated every new game however I believe it's supposed to get more dynamic.
3. I believe it will have production, crafting, and building uses in later versions.
4. See above.
