Placing defence walls

Hi,

for a couple of games now, i have problems to to place defence walls in a way that the squad members can walk all around, having crossbow positions and no floating walls. Biggest problem here are corners and hilly ground. Had to dismantle lot of times my walls, till it works....
The program should mark areas wich can not be crossed and where the wall will have no contact to the ground.

this happens when you set wall height to max.

well.. i was working with default/auto setting..

maybe an option for readjusting previews planed/build walls?

But would be great specially for planing...

can you grab a screenshot of the issue?
and or zip up the save affected and upload that.

The first 8 pictures show the actual build. The next 16 pictures, only default/auto build had been used.
