I'm working on making an elite squad of only a few members, each one specializing a different weapon. I had some awesome arms and armor, but something happened with the 0.24.0 update and I lost my save  . Now it seems not only the prices have changed, but the location of the best weapons and armor too. There's only 4 weapon classes so far, and the only fighter I haven't gotten yet is the heavy weapons guy. If anyone knows where to find the best equipment, price shouldn't be a problem for me. (I'd like to have the katana swordsman a quick, lightly armored fighter, but I doubt the game calculates that kind of stuff yet)

Stores & Items are all random everytime you start a newgame. my best weapons are from diffreant towns from many diffreant games. I have not noticed a specific town with better items.

Yes. There are two types of structures found out in the wastes. One is a town, indicated by a square on your map. The other is a trading post (which has been referred to as a merc camp), indicated by a circle.
