I have been ravaging the tribe of 'green shorts' for some time. My skills are still low, but I am looking at all of those nicely equipped imperial troops just strolling around. I have tried to right click on them and kill them, but I could not engage combat. I am I doing something wrong? Can you fight them?

Edit: I guess I am also interested in other martial challenges and looting opportunities beyond the green shorts. I did see some dust ninja's up north, I might head back up there.

That's strange, you should be able to engage them. Right click and in the drop down menu select attack.

You should always proofread carefully to make sure you didn't any words out.

yea, you should be able to attack them as well as any others, i for one have already done it, and got my ass handed to me XD! shop keepers were coming out and everything, but yea, when you right click on them hold it, and instead of just moving down to the attack button when the drop down comes up, keep holding the right click, and hit the left click on the attack, that should force your dude to attack, good luck!

Does this cause a universal change in faction relation? Do faction members not involved attack you on site? This could amount to a lot of enemies.

yes. Everyone from the faction you attack will know you are an enemy and come after your entire squad if they see you.

If you have your members all over the map, you could end up in fights on multiple fronts

You should always proofread carefully to make sure you didn't any words out.

its fun watching the mass battle take place. i usually lose 3/4 of my squad but its worth it. :)

Thank you everyone, it works just like you said. I attacked the yellow group, and everyone else remains neutral. Loot comes much, much faster and I am even thinking about adding another group into my hit list.

It will be even more hectic when the turrets and ranged weapons become implemented. I can't wait to hijack an enemy turret and use it against 'em

You'll probably get stabbed while trying to turn it around.

If each minion can at least turn it a few degrees before they die I can eventually turn it around. I just need a few volunteers.
