Took it down by numbers back when polearms was not a thing. Although i can't remember that it gave me any particular troubles, i think it actually did, after all, for 3 or 4 of 8 my group were knocked out and i had to guard them at the shore of a nearby island for a while :) i wonder if this beast would go down any faster if treated with poles.

Had a 20 man team go in. last 3 standing finished him off, one was killed outright, took a 99 hit to the chest followed by a 106 hit. Another bled out before the remaining 3 could bandage everyone.

Mainly his AOE hit almost everyone as they were trying to get in the door. Then they were bunched up on the walkways and took more AOEs so probably only half my squad was actually fighting him.

Brutal!

I came across it when exploring the coast, and just for fun I made a save then rushed in. To be honest, if I had been wearing armor and had a better weapon I probably could've taken it out.

Because of my usual playstyle I've never attempted to take down the megaraptor... but I do have a defense squad training polearms so if someone finds that to work better I might have to schedule a hunt.
