Kenshi is an open ended sandbox game with no story line
so a end game goal is not feasible to fit in.
end game is when you decide.

i dont mean its a true end more some goal to go form
like getting 1m cats or taking over the map that kind of thing
like minecraft has a "ending" but you still play after it and you dont have to even aim for it is just a goal to give you some thing fun to aim for

there will a jobs system where you can do things, like go find this item or protect this caravan or murder this guy or find this person,
that's about as close as you're gonna get.

I guess it is to see if you can die of old age.

I really wish this game had some sims aspects to it for all the people. Could you imagine a combat oriented sims? That would be amazing.

I really really really hope they make it so you can take over towns, because they have all the best land..

Until that time, I'll have to settle with making a leviathan pearl necklace for my waifu.

I do hope the dev's eventually add a lot of end-game content. I'm looking forward to this diplomacy system for the full release because imo this system is going to be the foundation of "end-game" content. The game design of Kenshi is that the game world doesn't care about the player, which is awesome!!! but I think the dev's should take into account the fact that the game world should "realize/learn" to care about the player once the player becomes very powerful. Any world would react if a sudden nation, team, or group becomes powerful enough to make a mark on the map. Examples: Glory seeking npc's who come hunting/looking for the player's base to kill them as a trophy, bounty hunters seeking the player, faction police/military.

I think the end-game would feel a tiny bit empty if a super group of 9 still has to go to the enemy for the enemy to care about them.

Yea. Like in my game. We picked a spot in Cannibal Plains, throw up harpoon-mounted walls, and work day and night forging weapons that have come to be some of the best in the known world. Sure Cannibal Plains isn't exactly a tourist hotspot, but people are going to notice when a fort pops out of nowhere and starts racking up a Cannibal body-count and churning out top-end weapons and armour.

I also want to takeover, or at least raze and stake claim to, towns and cities. NPCs are hoarding all the best spots.

Yeah It would be really cool to see a fleshed out end-game like this after the full release of kenshi. I would purchase a hefty post-release dlc. Hell I would pay full price again if it had enough features inside of it.

I dont know about you, but my end game is to wipe out the holy nation cities. Kill everyone in them. To be honest, i dont know if this is possible, because i think the guys will respawn, but i can try.

I think a cool end game would be just a big guarded fort or something that you have to wipe out. Like the dust king's tower you kill all the guys and murder the ruler (e.g dust king of tower).

Im hoping that you can wipe out cities as i said, because after all, you can just import a new game if you wanted to get everybody back. If its not possible ill probably submit it as a feature request.

I plan on destroying the holy lands too. But the beauty of Kenshi is that the game design is a living breathing world. No matter how powerful you get, there should "always" be another group who will oppose you. Aka: Not everyone loved Rome. Some wanted to see it burn.

It would be cool to see new factions rise up if the player manages to destroy a major faction. Like once the Holy land becomes decimated, a new faction called Holy Land Resistance continues to create conflict for the player. The world of Kenshi doesn't care about the player. Until you "make" it care, but even then I want to see the world shift. I wanna feel the world's powers changing its gaze towards a sudden new player on the field. (the player). Even till the bitter end of the "end-game, end-game" once you become pretty much game breaking op, it'd be cool to see ancient skeleton wise-men deem your characters too powerful and dangerous, so they send groups of 15 all 90-stat skeleton assassins to kill you.

I honestly assumed wiping out cities was in the game since theirs information about their military strength on the map screen.

you can, but it takes a while as the cities regenerate their population over time. but this makes it difficult to out right kill the entire city off as well.
