Gutter changes

Just wanted to open a discussion on the changes to the Gutters this patch.

First I'm glad that they have meat on their bones now. but I'm confused as to the "foul meat" that is also there.
Does anyone have any idea what the "foul meat" is about. I ate some I found in a old crate once many updates ago. Made me sick as a dog. Perhaps that is just a trap for the unwary?

Second is that there are no more eggs or loot at the nests. I'm not sure if that's bug or on purpose.
If it's on purpose I would like to suggest putting the eggs back. (don't much care about the weapons,) But the eggs are a wonderful bit of color and fun. Especially trying to steal them.
I would actually like it if you made the Gutter nests dependent on the eggs. As long as the eggs are there even if you kill all the Gutters, the nest will continue to spawn new young one, but if you take all the eggs and kill all the gutters no new eggs means no new gutters.
It would allow for a manageable if dangerous husbandry of a meat source.

As for the foul meat, i guess it's the remains of something the Gutter have eaten some time ago :)

As for the eggs - i love your idea very much, in fact, that's what i've been thinking when i first stumbled across the nest: "Oh, eggs... must be their mean of reproduction. Gotta steal them all so they couldn't hatch any offspring, and bother nearby hive any longer!"

I mean, that seems kind of natural to think about those things as of something more then just a precious loot. After all, Fog Prince is deadly dead after decapitation, and animals too, after you take their meat, and so should be nests. If it is implementable at all.

Gutter nests are back to normal after recent updates.
I still want to make a giant omelet out of one of those eggs. Or combine it with bread and have French toast for days. oh that means we need new crops! Sugarcane or sugarbeets, for making powdered sugar, and we will need to be able to tap some of those trees to make syrup. Can't have French toast with out syrup AND BUTTER, rope one of those wild cattle and milk it. Now which one of the animals looks most like BACON!
Damn I'm hungry I better go get breakfast.

you can mod them in as hireables like at holy farms with the bulls and bonedogs.
that's about as close as you are gonna get in Kenshi.

If you're going to add them in as sellable, it'd probably make more sense to mod in a way to buy them from the hivers. Hivers share a geographical region with beak things, and I'd have trouble believing the Holy Nation would ever even want to try domesticating them.

paint them yellow
call em Big Bird. or chocobo's.
then you could sell em at holy nation farms.
