have a way to reconcile with traders

My pets stole food from some traders, so I can trade anymore with those traders. could we have a way to reconcile with them?
Like:

• When a trader see you steal, it open a dialog with mutliple options (buy the objet, give it back, run away)
• Paying them with money(/other?)
• talking with them
• other ways?

This could create an unwanted loop, could be limited/increasingly expensive, but takes away the little realism we can ask from a game imo.
Well, realistically, if you stole a 10cat items and offered me to be repaid 2 times the value of the item to reconcile, I would let you do it anytime, I would let you steal my underwear too. But that's not a solution.

A solution would be to stop animals steal food, and will probably be the easiest, adding a simple condition to their pick food task.

For the general reconcile concept, might not be bad to have it, but not in a way you can interact, I would opt for a time ban. Long time.

Currently you have to find the diplomat for the traders. He is sitting in some bar someplace on the map.
The problem is finding him. If you do you can pay him some cats to fix your rep with the traders guild.

Red, do not put animals to follow/bodyguard (they only enter in buildings if you give them this job). Next time a dog can make your hole squad be killed, enslaved or in prison. Yes, they overreact over a animal "stealing" a bread...

Way to reconcile with a specific trader is still needed. Even some little dialogue to prevent the hate in the first place:

Trader catching you taking an item:
- HEY! Whatcha doing, stealing?!
-- Oh, no, no, no, not at all, i'm buying this, here're the cats [Pay X Cats]
-- Easy, just checking it out, sorry for misunderstanding [Give item back to him] (Could go either way, maybe they'll believe you, maybe they'll call you a caught thief)
-- Me needs to eat! [Run Away]

After all, missclicks happens, so we need some way to recover our rep on the spot

I like the one-time free pass, but if it's always like that, there's still no downside in stealing. I'm gonna try modding in this while we have nothing else from devs. Maybe a week long cooldown, so you know you screwed up and should not steal again from the same person for a while, but chances are you're tagged as thief independently from dialogs, worth a try.
